Selection Procedure

Depending upon the category-wise number of vacancies, from among those who apply online, the shortlisted candidates (at the sole discretion of the Company) for each position will be called for personal interview at the Registered Office of the Company at New Delhi, for which no claim for TA/DA would be admissible/paid by the Company. Based on the personal interview, the provisionally selected candidates will be issued offer of appointment subject to their fulfilling the stipulated eligibility criteria as mentioned in relation thereto and production of the relevant documents in original and a photocopy in support of their identity and eligibility pertaining to category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, experience, etc. as indicated in the online Application Form. A candidate who does not avail/accept the offer of appointment, given by the Company, will forfeit his/her candidature for the given position and then the candidate from the Waiting List under the relevant category would be called at the sole discretion of the Company. Total number of vacancies may increase/ decrease at any time.

Probation

The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of six (6) months from the date of joining as per the Policy of the Company.

Intimations

All communications will be made available on the specified authorized website and sent only to the registered e-mail given by the candidate. The Company will not take responsibility for late receipt / non-receipt of any communication email due to technical reasons or whatsoever to the candidate. Hence candidates are requested to keep track of their status by visiting website as well as checking their registered e-mail account from time to time during the recruitment process.

How to Apply

Recruitment of Officers in IFCI Factors Limited (IFL)

1 Candidates are required to apply Online through website. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
2 Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID and Contact No. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment project. IFL may send call letters for interview etc. through the registered email ID. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying Online. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person.
3 Candidates should scan their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature are within the required specifications. If the size of the file is more than the specified limit then adjust the settings of the scanner. Click “Guidelines for Scanning Photograph & Signature” for more information.
4 Applicants are first required to go to the IFL's website www.ifcifactors.com and open the page 'Careers'.
5 Candidates shall apply Online by visiting the Career Page of the website and going to the link titled "Apply Online". Clicking on this link will open up the appropriate Online Application Format.
6 Carefully fill in the necessary details in the Online Application Form at the appropriate places and submit the same Online.
7 On successful submission of Application, a pop-up would be generated containing an alpha-numeric number starting with “REC” (containing the acknowledgement number) and a mail would be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates. Candidates are required to take a print of the said mail and send the same alongwith the requisite Demand Draft (with name and acknowledgement no. of candidate written at the back side of Demand Draft) in an envelope with the name of the position superscribed on it to “The Head- HR”, IFCI Factors Limited, 10th Floor, IFCI Tower, 61, Nehru Place, New Delhi- 110019.
8 The Demand Draft of the requisite amount should be sent at the mentioned address within 7 days of applying online for the position.
MODE OF PAYMENT :-
9 Candidates are required to submit the requisite Application Fees (non-refundable) of Rs. 1000/- (for Unreserved Category) and Rs. 250/- ( for SC, ST and OBC (NCL) categories ) shall be payable by the applicant vide Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of “IFCI Factors Limited” payable at New Delhi.
10 Candidates are, advised to keep printouts of the application form and e-mail for future use.
11 The name of the candidate and his/ her father/ husband etc should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/ mark sheets. Any change/ alteration found may disqualify the candidature.

1 What should I do if there is lot of delay in accessing the page?
Speed for submission of On-Line Application on Internet, is based on various factors like Internet Speed, large number of applicants trying to register the application at the same time etc. Therefore if you are not able to get the pages for registration immediately, please retry after a gap of 15 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night.
2 How do I know that my application is submitted successfully?
Successful submission of Application is indicated by the pop-up displayed after clicking the Submit Button indicating the generated "Acknowledgement". Please note down the same carefully and preserve it. If you do not preserve it, you will not be able to Re-Print the Application and download further communication, if any.
3 I did not receive the email intimation for successful submission of my application?
"ACKNOWLEDGEMENT" are also sent by auto-response Confirmation emails. Delivery of these emails purely depends upon the correctness of E-Mail ID provided, Policy of your E-Mail Service Provider to accept and divert such emails under Bulk or Spam Mails or bounce back such mails without accepting it due to heavy number of emails generated by Applications. In case of Govt/official /company Email Ids, delivery is controlled by your employer’s Policies. Therefore, please do not expect replies from us, if you do not receive such confirmation / auto-response Emails.
4 I got Blank / Zero Acknowledgement No. after submission of application on-line?
In rare cases, Candidates may get Zero (0) Acknowledgement No. Candidates are advised to Re-submit the Application.
5 After filling up the complete form, I got Blank Screen / Internet got disconnected / My PC closed / hanged / shutdown. Is my application saved / registered?
If you do not get the application printout, your application is not submitted. Please re-apply.
6 I did not receive the acknowledgement / reply to my email communication?
"Reply to" Email Id for the Application is created for the convenience of the Candidates for genuine communications. Please do not use this address to send back the emails for "Acknowledgment" etc. Our Email Server is configured to delete such emails automatically.
7 What details should I provide while writing for the genuine problem, if any?
Please do not forget to provide following details while writing to us: (1) ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NUMBER (2) DATE OF BIRTH & (3) FULL NAME as entered in application. In case of application failure or any error message, we would like to have the screenshot of the error in JPG, GIF format or as MS Word file. Additionally, you may provide the PC Details including the Operating System (like Windows XP, Vista, Linux etc.) & Internet Browser & version (like Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla 3.0, Firefox 3.5 etc.) used.
8 I want to change / correct the details I entered in the Application?
After filing up all the information in the Application, click on “Proceed to Review” button. A prototype (non-editable) of your application would appear. You go through the details you filled in and in case you want to change the details already filled in, close the prototype screen and edit the details.

Please choose the 'EDIT' option to correct the details. For final submission of the form after editing, click on “Submit” button. Please remember to take fresh print out after modifying any details.

GUIDELINES FOR SCANNING THE PHOTOGRAPH AND SIGNATURE

Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/ her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below.

1 Photograph Image:
  • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
  • The picture should be in colour, taken against a light coloured, preferably white background.
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
  • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
  • If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye".
  • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable, religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
  • Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of the file should be between 20kb – 50kb.
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no of colours etc during the process of scanning.
2 Signature Image:
  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black/Blue Ink pen.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of the file should be between 10kb - 20kb
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB
3 Scanning the photograph & signature:
  • Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch)
  • Set the colour to True Colour
  • File size as specified above
  • Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/ signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above).
  • The image file should be JPG, JPEG, GIF or PNG format. An example file name is: image01.jpg, image01.jpeg, image01.gif or image01.png. Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon.
Candidates using MSWindows/ MSOffice can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50kb and 20kb respectively by using MSPaint or MSOffice Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using 'Save As' option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50kb (photograph) & 20kb (signature) by using crop and then resize option (Please see point (i) & (ii) above for the pixel size) in the ‘Image’ menu. Similar options are available in other photo editor also.
If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed.
While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with a link to upload his photograph and signature.
4 Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature
  • There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature
  • Click on the respective link "Upload Photograph / Signature"
  • Browse and Select the location where the Scanned Photograph / Signature file has been saved.
  • Select the file by clicking on it
  • Click the 'Upload' button
Your Online Application will not be submitted unless you upload your photograph and signature as specified.
Note:

a. In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear the candidate's application may be rejected.
b. After registering online, candidates are advised to take a printout of their system generated online application forms.
c. In case the photograph or signature is unclear, the candidate may edit his application form and reupload his photograph or signature prior to submission.
